Most vocabulary apps show you the written word, or a picture next to it. You end up learning to recognise words with your eyes.
Out in the world — in a conversation, a film, an announcement — words arrive as sound, fast and without subtitles. That is the gap Lades is built to close.
Every question is audio only. Your ear and your memory do the work together, so pronunciation and recognition grow at the same time.
A session is ten words and takes a couple of minutes.

Lades does not ask you to sign up and does not build a profile of you. Your progress stays on your device. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, and in regions where consent is required you are asked first — and can change your choice at any time from the app’s settings.
